I have known Rup Koirala since 2011 when we first met during my time as Assistant Principal Launceston College. Rup is a highly respected member of our community and held in high esteem within the multicultural community in Launceston where he has worked tirelessly for many years.

During the time I have known Rup we have chatted many times about the work he is doing to support the community and help work with the community on providing opportunity through educational and cultural activities.

Rup works hard to help others and is successful in his endeavours and I believe we are fortunate to have someone as passionate and hardworking as Rup in our community here in Launceston.
